Where would the sistas be without the brothas!?! These men continue to defy the category where society tries to place them, constantly bending and often breaking barriers through sacrifice, fortitude and even some humiliation. The best of the best have paid their dues to their craft, and have provided spectacular cinematic performances on screen, while exemplifying class and dignity off camera. I've attempted to compile a comprehensive list of African-American actors, as well as links to more information about them. I've also created a categorized list which groups them by experience with other gentlemen in their craft. I am NOT in the entertainment business, so this listing is my opinion as a moviegoer of the careers of these talented men.
